To note that. :-)

Unless there's something against it
we can discuss the game in here, too, I think. I remember a few overflow threads for the ASG last year.

Slim.
My guess is that Pujols gets at least 5 innings and Howard’s the first off the bench.
by Ted Simmons Speed Camp on Jul 14, 2009 7:42 PM CDT up reply actions
Which is ridiculous because Fielder has been about twice as good as Howard so far
Howard should definitely not be on this team.

All the more reason to not play Howard much
He wants him to rest, and he doesn’t want to look like he’s playing favorites
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, ""That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
I would guess slim to none
but they might want to take pujols out in the middle of an inning to give him a standing O, so it’s possible they’ll put Fielder in… or Gonzalez.. or Howard…

Speaking of Hoffman, cool story.
I was at the final game before the all-star break in the Harley deck, right above the Brewers bullpen. A few of the relievers (I know Stetter and Smith were both there) lined up a bunch of towels end to end and put a bunch of gum on the sides, lining the towels. When Hoffman came up into the dugout, he saw it and walked across the towels like they were a red carpet while the other relievers showered him with sunflower seeds like confetti. We thought that it was really funny (we had been trying to figure out what they were doing with the towels; we guessed it was some kind of game).
Once I got back from the game I logged on to here and saw why they did it; Hoffman was put on the all-star game that day.

Braun seemed to play a decent RF in the attempts I saw
it’d be nice if he could play RF if Gamel looks better in left
2010: Gamel in left, McGehee at third, death to bill hall
Computer freaked out; their was more to that comment.
I would rather keep Gamel at third while he keeps showing he can handle it, than you can have McGehee, who I think has played OF before, play in RF as there would be no need to move Braun. I think that would be the best solution. Though I prefer McGehee as a new Craig Counsell if our old one leaves after this year.

Causing the Brewers to prematurely pick up his 2011 option.
:) + Suppan = :'(
It seems like this NL roster would have had a better chance had it been in an AL stadium.
With the four slugging first basemen, arguably four of the best hitters on the team, it would have given them a place to play all of them rather than having Prince and Adrian pinch hit.

and not gonna play. Don’t think ther will be a second chance for the old man
