Milwaukee right-hander Dave Bush will rest his tired pitching arm for five days, pushing back the Brewers’ plans for his return to the rotation.
Bush had MRI exams on his shoulder and arm Friday, two days after he felt tiredness during a minor league rehab start. The results showed no change from previous tests. Bush will rest through next Wednesday, then be examined again.
Bush went on the disabled list June 23 because of a small tear in his right triceps that caused him to feel fatigue.
