CC Returning to Crew?
Has anyone hear, or more likely read about, anything regarding Chris Capuano?
The latest thing that I found on him was a McCalvy article that had him throwing @ 105 feet at the end of May. Throwing BP in early June and could see game action in early July.
It is now July 21st and have heard nothing about BP or minor league sessions or ??
It would be nice if someone had access to the Brewer's GM, Asst GM, Clubhouse, Trainer, or Parking Attendant and could ask about white CC

Probably not...
As it sounds like he’ll only be getting into games for the first time toward the end of August.

CC return
The Brew crew broadcast team did mention CC recently, to the effect that it was unlikely he’d rejoin the team this year. Maybe they heard the parking attendant say that.
What’s more important is how long Macha will remain as manager. If I were in charge, he’d have been gone weeks ago.

For what?? About the only thing that I can criticize him for is not playing Gamel enough. And even that is iffy depending on McGee’s confidence in playing 2nd everyday. Otherwise, Macha > Yost – by far.

I agree ...
Macha has done fine, iMO. People will always be able to find things to criticize about any manager, especially after the fact. I also find it hard to criticize Macha’s handling of Gamel when McGehee and Counsell have generally played so well.

I agree as well
However, Macha should be judged on his own merits, not compared to Yost.

yep
he knows how to double-switch at least
only think I’d criticize Macha on his apathy when it comes to arguing with the umps and might be otherwise too laid-back

I think Macha over works Manny and Yo. He didn’t play Gamel enough. He played Hall too much. He doesn’t give Gerut enough time in the field. Poor use of the bullpen (but then again, there isn’t one manager that I think manages a bullpen correctly…)
