Frank Catalanotto and the Outfield
Im not sure if this has been pointed out before, but I was watching the greatest 1-hit wonders of the 80's the other day when The Outfield's "Your Love" came up. As im watching the video (found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgfSzuFD8rw) I noticed that the lead singer looked exactly like Frank Catalanotto (minus the trailer-park-esque mullet). Think its any coincidence that he looks just like him and uses this as his entrance music? I think not.

A couple random thoughts about this post:
1: If you added a nice metallic threaded drop shadow to The Outfield’s kick drum logo, you essentially have the Nationals jersey wordmark.
2: I find it simultaneously odd and amusing that The Outfield were actually British, and as a result probably have no particular affection for baseball.
3: Steinberger headstock-less basses and guitars are really funny looking. Where did the people who wielded them put their cigarettes during songs?
Steinbergers
Those things are so strange to play. I actually hadn’t seen anyone play one in ages until this Protest The Hero video and dude actually makes it look kind of cool.
PTH owns btw
Hey
What do you call a guy surrounded by musicians?
A bass player.
:D
