Brewers Sign Supplemental first rounder Kyle Heckathorn

Ringgold’s Kyle Heckathorn signed a contract Friday with the Milwaukee Brewers, according to his agent. Victor Menocal of Career Sports & Entertainment confirmed that Heckathorn, who was drafted in the supplemental round after a successful three seasons at Kennesaw State University, signed and will report to the Brewers’ Helena, Mont., short season rookie league Monday. He will be introduced in Milwaukee Saturday at the Brewers’ game against Atlanta.
