Why do the Brewers hitters bother to come to the games?
They should hold the barrels in their hands and swing with the handle. It’ll do about as much good.
Very optimistic title
Half a league, half a league, half a league onward, all in the valley of death rode the Brewer's bullpen.

Nats
Record for runs scored in a game since moving to Washington is 15.

Bard
Must be the worst starter for MLB. He has yet to score this game. Thanks Liz for catching that.

If Rivera doesn't get a chance to hit in this game
And I were his family, I would be worried about him
hey
just what the hell is going on here? it takes the nats a month and a half to score 14 runs.

I think I liked it better when they couldn't spell their team name right

So when do we throw our support to the Astros?
I mean, they’re not the Cubs, and they’re not the Cards, and they have Coop, so they’re the fallback NL Central team, right?
Thankfully for me the Angels have gotten it together lately
Watching 2 teams struggle/suck is just more than I can handle.
So if we hit our own pitching
Does anyone think we could win more than one game?

So I was at the game tonight
I left early.
Wow.
That was extremely brutal. Someone talk me away from the cliff. What a monumental waste of money.

Not much, thankfully
But I think spending a dime to watch Suppan pitch is a waste of money.
Luckily I didn’t start drinking until after I left

As depressing as that must have been to watch on TV
It was terrible to watch in person.
24 runs in 2 games. Why does Castro still have a job? Guy hits a grand slam off Soup, who by the way was well over 100 pitches, and then it takes another guy to get a hit before Castro gets out of the bullpen to even talk to him.
Unbelievable.

With this roster, there's no way you should be below .500
It’s inexcusable. Absolutely inexcusable. We have a manager on our team right now. Give Randolph the job. Fire Castro.
We’re getting embarrassed by the worst team in baseball. THE WORST TEAM. This is terrible! Are you freaking kidding me? This is what I expected against the Dodgers, not the Nationals.

If we drop another game to these guys
even by one run, I’m with you. I’m blaming this one on Soup (perhaps foolishly, but i need to sleep tonight).

This is just so embarassing.
gotta be the worst loss by any team this season.

how do you figure?
team “in the pennant race” losing to the worst team in baseball.

I'm with you
Worst loss, by far. I can’t recall one this bad.

considering there was an article written this season
arguing that this was barely a MLB worthy team and that the AAA all stars would easily compete with them.

They have a pretty good offense (even before tonight)
To be only barely MLB worthy.
