Parra on his way back?
Via Adam McCalvy:
The Triple-A Nashville Sounds have juggled their probable pitchers for the week and left-hander Manny Parra isn't on the list, a very strong indication that the Brewers will recall him to the big leagues for a start at some point this week.

I can tell you that my fingers are crossed
But I can’t quite say for sure how hopeful I am

He only had 1 bad start with Nashville...
And he did strike out a Rehab-start Manny Ramirez (can’t remember if it was once or twice in that game). And so the roller coaster season that is Manny Parra begins to click, click, click up another incline. Let’s hope is a fun ride when it gets to the top.

And then tumbles down the hill at high speed?

one point of optimism
is how this is exactly how Parra’s 2009 first-half mirrors Bush’s from last season and the latter returned and pitched really well in the second half.
so there’s that. sigh.

Could it also be a sign that he’s being traded or is injured?

Most likely not. I read somewhere after Manny being demoted that trading him would not be an option because Melvin hopes that one day Parra can be the ace of the staff. Every pitcher goes through a bad period of pitching; it would be dumb to give up on him.

Now go get Halladay.
