he's not talking about the post here on BCB

I have similar org-by-org recaps on minorleaguesplits.com. for instance: Cardinals today. No box/pbp links. If you go back a couple of days (July 5 Cardinals recap), you’ll see the box/pbp links, as they are on the BCB post every day.

Also, cheese.

temporarily, no

I just set up XML feeds. The box/pbp links are to .jsp pages with multiple parameters (e.g. “page.jsp?game=xyz”), and those equals signs apparently make for incorrectly-formed XML. There’s got to be a way around that, but I haven’t gotten a chance to look for it very hard.

The other alternative is to simply delete the links for the XML feeds, but given the way my code is set up right now, it’s a pain in the ass to do so, so I’m hoping I can find a solution that let’s me keep the links everywhere.

Also, cheese.

most of the time

I wouldn’t go through all that explanation, but since it was you asking, I knew it would be worth it :).

Thanks!

That might be it. I’ll try it tomorrow or Friday. My hacktastic plan was to put some of those links in a wordpress blog entry, then see what WP did with it in the feed … but I recognize CDATA from wordpress-generated XML, so maybe I can skip that step.

I’ve been spending a lot of time automating XML feeds the last few days (also three feeds here: gmatdaily.com ), and while I’m learning a lot, I can’t really say I’m enjoying it.

Also, cheese.

Heether

I hadn’t seen his name in the top performers category in a couple days and was started to get worried he was regressing…nice to have him back.
