burns is supposed to be the starter today. I assume vargas is now? Otherwise, with his performance yesterday, why isn’t burns sent down to have a fresh pen and give dillard the start with vargas in relief?
What?
Burns is still starting, Vargas is joining the team as a reliever, and Dillard is going to AAA after his shenanigans last night.

man, that was quick and disappointing
i was at last night’s game and will be tonight.
so far, i’ve seen 19 innings of brewers baseball this year and the pitchers have allowed 23 runs.
the brewers have scored 8 and 7 runs and lost both games by 4 runs.
WHAT DID HE DO TO DESERVE THIS???

Well it does work in AAA...
Somehow. And of course one has to wonder if Dillard’s peripherals would even improve sufficiently enough back as a full-time reliever to make him worthwhile for the future at all…
Well he was striking guys out as a reliever
from 7 down to 3 this year. Something changed.
