On the one hand
You have to wonder why a team so short on pitching near the majors would waive a 24-year-old guy like Green while a nonprospect like Corporan is still on the roster. After all, he doesn’t walk very many hitters (2 per 9) and he strikes out his fair share (7 per 9). So I guess if you look at just that, it seems like a silly move.
But then you have to ask why he’s so hittable. Here he’s given up 11 hits per nine in AAA this year after giving up 10.5 per 9…and he’s been lucky not to give up more, according to MLS. I wonder how many of his strikeouts are looking, because it sure doesn’t seem like he’s fooling many people who swing.
I wonder if the Brewers figure he’ll make it through waivers during a time when teams don’t really grab sort-of, maybe, could-be’s even if they have an option left and will try to sign him to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training for next year.

Those are valid questions
but they’re not as relevant as the question, “Why is a AAA caliber backup catcher on the 40-man roster?”
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).
Bad memories of how the M's came to the Brewers begging for Pat Borders a few years ago after...
their entire catching depth got injured at once?
i have a feeling the angels may be looking at him
