Brewers sign Kentrail Davis (Supplemental) and Brooks Hall (4th Round)
The link goes to the Baseball America story on Davis, who signed for $1.2 million, the highest bonus given to a supplemental pick this season.
Hall signed for $700,000. Only $502,000 above the recommended amount.

Does he wear number 2?
It’d be nice if my t-shirt could remain current.

More importantly
Can you transfer your Bill Hall B-Ref sponsorship to Brooks Hall?
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
As long as I have money, or the ability to steal money
Billy will always have a sponsored page at b-ref

Ask to borrow some from Billy.
I hear he’s going to make pretty good cash next year.

The change of scenery will do him good
Nice of the Brewers to subsidize it.

With this pick, the Brewers have signed 20 of their top 22 picks, and 30 of 53 overall.
And I’m assuming they’ll still sign Kentrail Davis later today. I have no idea what’s going on with Scooter Gennett.

Scooter?
KL could make up any nickname he wanted for these draft picks and we’d pick up on it, here. Ken"Oregon"trail Davis, anyone?
I prefer the vivisector
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
I really like
How aggressive the Crew has been in getting their picks signed.
BCB, the preferred above replacement level sarcasm supplier.
Another Draft note
Heyman’s Twitter is reporting that the Nats offer to strassburg was 12.5 Mil.
I don’t think that will get it done

Update
Baseball America (according to McCalvy) says the Crew has deal done with davis and is still working on Scooter.

Davis got 1.2 Mil

well done sir
BTW, according to the Jon Mayo Twitter, Shelby Miller agreed to terms with the cards. He got 2.9 mil

High bonus
But with the supposed hush to keep prices around the league down I was expecting it to be even higher.
Nice to see the Brewers being aggressive with their signings.
Ryan Braun: He loves it.
A man with the name Brooks Hall
should implode from the combination of awesome and suck in his name.
