Oh man
I didn’t even think to try for Uecker. To be honest, he’s the main reason I follow the Brewers. I’ve listened to him my whole life. He got me through a summer when I interned at the Census Bureau. omg, was it boring there. I would’ve died without mlb audio entertaining me for 3 hours a day.
Did you just send the ball to Miller Park Way? I’m willing to wait months and months.
No need to wait months...
Uecker has a really quick turnaround. I belong to an autograph request website/database and my return time was pretty typical to what others have experienced.
I sent this right at the beginning of the recent West coast road trip so he probably didn’t get a crack at this ball until Tuesday Aug. 18th and it was in my mailbox on Friday afternoon.
I sent it to:

Blow Cubs Blow! Blow Cubs Blow! Hey Milwaukee, what do you say? The Cubs are going to lose today.
Did you send postage or self addressed box? Are there any other costs involved or etiquette I need to be aware of? You mentioned a group you belong to for autographs. Can you share info. Thanks, David.

FWIW
When I worked for the Philadelphia Flyers, most of the autographs were, ahem, “invented” by the PR department.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
Thats certainly true...
Hank Aaron is probably the most notorious culprit of this but this one is probably legit. I’ve looked at certified autographs of Uecker’s and it looks good.

About the Flyers...
Did they not forward mail to their players when you worked for them? And do you know if that’s still the case? I’ve heard the Red Wings are horrible about that type of thing as well.

Do you have to send a pen also?
Obviously they have pens there, but I mean, just to be sure they’re not using a sharpie that will fade, do you send along a pen with the ball?
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, ""That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
I didn't...
but it couldn’t hurt if you want the standard blue ball point.

Looks real...
from another site..

"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
Baseballs
If I get a valuable signature I get a Rawlings Official Major League Baseball. I usually get them at a local baseball card shop or at Dicks Sporting Goods. Dicks has them for $16 which includes a protective case. Ive seen a dozen balls wo protective case on ebay for around $130 w shipping.
