Hart undergoes emergency appendectomy, Hall recalled, Patterson not actually signed (yet)
Corey Hart underwent an appendectomy today and will be placed on the DL. Bill Hall is being recalled to take his spot on the roster.
Meanwhile, the team is saying they have yet to actually sign Corey Patterson to a minor league deal, but expect him to sign soon.

thusfar
he’s just been sneaking off to bang the manager’s wife while he puts the batboy in his uniform to pinch hit when his name/number is called.

Hall
I feel bad for Don Money. Assuming Hall gets pulled from the AAA doubleheader at some point, he’ll be left with only two backup catchers on his bench.
Also, Angel Salome dropped what sounded like a simple foul pop up. Sigh.

I really wish he had worked on his stuff a little more..
He still shouldn’t get any playing time…

Can we just say how much this totally and completely sucks?
Hart’s been hot since the All-Star Break and then disappears completely for their back come back month. I don’t know that it’s going to have the same obvious impact of Weeks, but moving from a Hart that’s found his swing and the strikezone to Hall and … um, well whatever he thinks is a swing is going to hurt the offense something fierce.
The Brewers really didn’t need another injury. I think they’ve had well more than their fair share this season which is even doubly crappy because it’s such a young team.
Weak.

Bills could not understand why Corey was not batting for Cat
well emergency surgery does explain a lot lol
I hope Corey is doing ok and I am glad this did not hit him on one of the Brewers airplane trips
I had a groomsman miss my wedding the plane he was on had to do an emergency landing in Cleveland so he could have his appendectomy

Frank Catalanotto rules and is so much better than Corey Hart
captainbok: What do you like the most about milwaukee
Jeff Suppan: Captain Bok, that is a great question. Does "Bok" mean Book of Knowledge? My favorite thing about Milwaukee are the Brewers.
