you don’t think it provides some sort of litmus test for the CF’ers in our organization? If they can’t outperform CP, we’re pretty much screwed at the position for a while, no?

They didn't give anyone a chance to outperform him
They promoted or traded the other CFs on the Nashville roster. I think it’s a joke they might bring him up to the majors.
