ESPN Mag & Insider for $3/year for up to 3 years.
Gotta sign up on Tanga, but well worth it if not just for Insider.

The minute that ESPN put an auto-starting video on every goddamn page was the day I stopped going to ESPN.com – I already gave up on watching their network years ago.
They’re not the industry leaders in anything anymore, except for annoying the hell out of me.

Exactly.
I used to go to ESPN, and used to have an Insider subscription, and I didn’t find the content especially earth-shattering.

Because my guess is >50% of the people enjoy the video content, and at least half of the other readers are technologically savvy enough to have already blocked all flash content/ads from the website anyway, so it didn't affect the majority of the readers.
.. in a negative way, at least.

agreed
and purchased. I ended my ESPN subscription a while ago. I have no need for the Insider subscription. However, for 3 dollars a year, it’s worth having. ESPiN’s agenda sucks, but the magazine stayed away from that, as far as I can remember
