Swindle never even got a chance to wear a Durham Bulls uniform. His 40-man roster spot was taken by major league veteran Russ Springer.

I guess Swindle's value went way up for the Indians after they saw the Rays' interest in him, or something.
Bit odd they didn’t care to claim him the first time around.
