I already blogged about this. Couldn’t help but laugh about the idea of putting Jeff Suppan and the words World Series in the subject of the email I received about it.
Ugh
The World Series is a large reason we are anchored by Jeff and his contract.
I wonder if the fan vote is the sole determining factor in awarding the Clemente award — I don’t think it has been like that in year’s past. I find it odd that the Clemente award has a “fan vote”.
That said, while Suppan sucks as a pitcher, I am sure he doesn’t suck as a human being, after all he does lob his used egg cartons into large dumpsters. Personally, I was really put off by his stem-cell commercials in MO, but I am sure he is more generous as a person than he is as a pitcher — and that is very generous.
