SBNation Coverage
The offense got things going right away tonight off former Brewer Doug Davis when Felipe Lopez collected his 1,000th career hit (a double) and Ryan Braun drove him in on his 100th career home run. The Crew then tacked on two more in the third, with RBIs from Ryan Braun and Casey McGehee, and single runs in the fourth and fifth.
Braden Looper pitched well through five innings, only allowing one run, but ran into some trouble in the sixth. After allowing a lead-off home run to Justin Upton, Looper then gave up singles to Miguel Montero and Gerardo Parra, prompting Macha to dip into his bullpen early. David Weathers then proceeded to give up a ground rule double to Brandon Allen to bring the score to 6-3. After allowing another walk, Weathers was able to escape the inning with no further damage. Weathers pitched another scoreless inning followed by the same from Claudio Vargas. Trevor Hoffman rebounded well from his blown save on Tuesday by pitching a 1-2-3 ninth to record his 31st save.

The fact he’s wearing #58 makes me think we finally know the reason Jesus Colome was released.
You know me Al.
I hope Gamel actually get to play tomorrow

Foolish Mortal.
The Melvin already knows what Gamel is capable of, and therefore, it is completely unnecessary for Gamel ever to play again.

YAY!!!
My team did good at sports!!!
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
