Maybe they did something in the park that didn't show up on TV...
… but I was sort of hoping that there would be some acknowlegment of Cooper being the previous record holder when Fielder broke his single-season RBI total. I did like Prince’s gesture towards the Astros dugout. Then again, I’m old enough to remembe Cooper playing 1st for the Brewers so maybe that’s the only reason why I cae…
Of course, I doubt Cooper would have approved anyway. Cooper has sort of a perpetually disappointed Father vibe to him these days, at least in the dugout, that suggests he wouldn’t approve of much of anything.
