Game was called after six innings due to rain.
With the win, Canada is 5-2 in pool play (after starting 0-2) and has clinched a spot in the final eight. The US, Chinese Taipei, Australia, The Netherlands, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Spain have also clinched spots. The semifinal and final rounds will open Tuesday in Italy.

Team Canada
I can’t say that I’ve been following Team Canada that closely, but I noticed their starting LF in this game was Adam Loewen, the former SP for the Orioles that is trying to become the second coming of Rick Ankiel and make it back to the majors as an outfielder.
