Any thoughts on the best way to make some noise? http://bit.ly/59Vi6

I agree!

As a hitter, I really don’t see anyone standing out as far as the favorites at mid-season. Garret Jones can out of nowhere, but I still think Casey has had a better year than Jones. Both have a small sample size (~approx 300 ABs both). McCutchen and G. Parra possibly are on the list to get it, but their stats don’t make me go wow either.

Chances are though, it will go to a pitcher. JA Happ’s numbers are pretty solid for a rookie pitcher 10-4, 2.77 ERA, 105 K’s, 52 BB. All the more impressive for a Phillies’ hurler pitching in that wiffleball park.

I will root for Casey, as he is deserving. I will be a big fan of his for what he does on the field, but more importantly what he has done off the field.

PS Big Seth: It is collar :P I don’t know how twitter works, but it works with a web browser, I suggest downloading Firefox. Instant spell checking is win.

Besides.

If your going to nitpick spelling you should probably just stop reading twitter posts altogether. Expecting good spelling on twitter is like going to Europe and getting pissed off when you meet someone who doesn’t speak English.

Sorry but No

Casey is having a good year – but I can’t back him for ROY honors. Not when Happ has had the season that he has had in the band box that is Philly. Even as a Brewer fan, I can’t be that much of a homer

Bandbox?

I’m not sure if the 11th best park for hitters qualifies as a bandbox.
