What we should've traded for Zach Greinke last offseason: A photo essay
In case you hadn't heard, Zack Greinke is having a(n) historically great season. I would express his value in terms of Yuniesky Betancourts, but Yuni has negative value, so that would be impossible. If Greinke were a Brewer, we would have about 105 wins right now.
Without further ado, a photo essay. What we should've traded for Zack Greinke last offseason.

If we had thrown in a couple million to cover salaries, I think that might just have gotten a deal done.

the citation is automatic when importing a photo from elsewhere on the web. no way I’d be that diligent :).

Where the hell
have you been? Your presence is sorely missed!
If you are discounting negative values I think you probably should delete Kendall and Macha from the above list.

the Royals seem to like negative values
so I threw them in.

Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, "That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
Close.
Reading Joe Posnanski’s blog, which is mostly about Zack Greinke. Dude writes a lot.

He's not so good that I feel bad about it
Still, his defense stayed, which is where I was really wrong.

I'm Confused...
Are we trading them TGJ or a TGJ signed photo?
Which has greater value?

I was on the Greinke bandwagon before it had wheels
This series of photos is one of the finest articles we will ever see on this site.

That's not a very nice thing to say about this site :).

If we are giving the Chirizo
we’d be giving too much
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
We don't need the chorizo
His sombrero just gets in the way

Uh, there's a half-dead-fat-man eating a dead-fat-man...am I the only one who realized? Oh, okay...

yeah,
that was kind of the effect I was going for. I’m low-tech though.

You found
the least flattering picture of Manny Parra ever. If he weren’t in a newer logo’d cap, I’d assume you just found a pic of a 1980’s look-alike. He looks 45 years old and like he’s wearing docksiders.
I think that picture is a least five years old
If memory serves, it accompanied a brewerfan.net interview with him way back when.
You know me Al.
I think that picture is an outdated BCB meme, as well
Either early last year or maybe even the year before, it was posted multiple times.

It's as outdated a meme
as dropping internecine into a conversation, or korea-jacking a thread. There are things that Sackman came with that never should get outdated.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
internecine?
Is that a meme here? If so, is it because of me?

I guess it is
SBN comment threads are one of the few things I don’t use Google for. You know what other market Google doesn’t have much share of? Yeah baby, Korea.
