Machaisms removed
Machaisms removed would assume of course that Macha plays Casey

Happ
Higher profile, plays for a WS contender, holding his own. Thats my call.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

I knew Garret Jones was doing well,
but wowza! He is killing it right now.

Wow Jones finally has twice as many RBI as HR
It was crazy how he couldn’t drive in anyone in scoring position for a while.
You know me Al.

Forget about ROY (Player on Player)
Casey went 1 for 3 with a double, 1 RBI and a strike out. who won the battle?

Happ
That 5Ks in a row was impressive.

I agree that Happ is the front runner
But the 5Ks in a row were not on Casey. Casey vs Happ not Happ vs the Brewers I think Casey wins the battle…

Tommy Hanson
Would be my guess. Top 10 Prospect, considered by some to already be Atlanta’s Ace, and he is 11-4 in only 4 months of work.
Others worthy of consideration: Chris Coghlan of Florida, colby Rasmus of the Cardinals, Randy Wells of the Cubs, Andrew McCutcheon and Garret Jones of the Pirates.
Of those guys listed above, as well as Happ and McGehee, McCutcheon is probably most deserving, with Wells 2nd best and Jones 3rd. All and all I still think Hanson is probably going to be the writers choice. Both Happ and McGehee, although nice seasons by both players, are probably at the bottom of the list of the players mentioned as far as impact seasons.
