Jesus Colome released
The team plans to use the 40-man roster spot to call up another pitcher. Kind of a puzzling move.

not "consistent" enough?
weathers hasn’t been either, if that’s the phrase they want to use.

Good if they do end up calling up one of the younger guys

Corey Patterson is currently on our roster
This cannot be overlooked
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).
Yes, it's annoying
But I’ve come around to thinking it could be worse. So far he’s been relegated to the end of the bench. Patterson over Colome over whatever is left in the Nashville outfield is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If Patterson is still on the roster come March, then it’ll be time to be really upset.

Nevertheless...
Calling up another pitcher would have been kind of easy before Patterson took that last 40-man roster spot…
Throwing darts at a dartboard
Some of the roster moves seem like a monkey throwing darts at the 40-man roster.
“Sorry Jesus, you’re being released. Bubbles over there thinks you aren’t pulling your weight. Either that or her aim has been drifting to the left a little lately. I’m sure you understand.”

Well, it's not exactly like Colome was unhittable.
With CF potentially up for grabs next season, I can see why the Brewers want to take a look at Patterson. He was doing well down in Nashville, so it’s not like he’s hasn’t shown that he might have turned things around.
