Anthony Witrado please take note:
this is more like what you should have said about the Prince incident.
Kevin Acee does not throw his player under the bus.

"his player"
My god, will you let this die? As bad as Witrado is content-wise, he has ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION to defend members of the Brewers because he’s one of the team’s beat writers. He does not work for the team. They are not “his players.” As much as you disagree with what Witrado said, how hard is it to understand that the MJS does not equal the Brewers organization?

point taken.
but as one of Milwaukee’s beat writers he has a ton of access to the players; and he must have figured out by now that prince is a good guy who takes time for the fans. he made no mention of that on national television when he had the chance.
i am not bringing it up again randomly; i wanted to mention that i liked how kevin acee handled himself in a similar situation.

point taken. Acee wasn't bad ...
I guess I wasn’t appalled by what Witrado said because Prince, like it or not, is responsible for two of the spazziest, most absurd incidents in MLB in the past two years, both of which were caught on tape, and it’s hard to defend his actions in either case. Is he a good guy aside from that, who’s cool with fans, does United Way ads, etc, etc? Sure — but it doesn’t excuse the incidents. I honestly would’ve considered Witrado to be a bigger douche if he HAD attempted to defend Prince.

If Witrado was the beat writer for the Chargers...
…. he would have claimed to have been out on a date with the victim and witnessed Merriman committing the crime. Or that he and Merriman were playing Madden when the alleged battery occurred.
Even if he was 1000 miles away at the time.
What makes Witrado an ass is his willingness to sacrifice honesty and, you know, truth, if fudging the facts results in a little more spotlight time for A-Dub.

God I loved that game for the N64.
Da Bombs and screen passes the whole game, very rarely did I not get a touchdown.
