Rodgers over Anundsen maybe...
But Scarpetta too? Does this have anything to do with that spot on the 40 man roster? I think Anundsen had a better year and played all year at Huntsville. They are the same age so what gives?

I'm no expert on prospects
But I think Scarpetta’s ceiling is believed to be much higher than Anundsen’s.

Anundsen played all year at Brevard
And like Cheeseandcorn said, Scarpetta’s ceiling is much higher than Anundsen’s

Don't get me wrong
Anundsen is one of my favorite prospects and had a great year. Scarpetta just has more of an upside, IMO

Manny Parra threw a perfect game
Just sayin’.

He still has a high cieling.
It’s just becoming more and more likely that he won’t reach it.
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, "That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
That's my problem with the Doug Melvin philosophy
It seems like he wants to ride out ‘upside’ until the wheels fall off. I’m not saying give up on Parra. I’m not even saying give up on Weeks. But the trade for Gomez seals it for me.

Agreed.
There are a fair number of guys hanging around that will make Melvin look like a genius if they work out, but might not work out. By contrast, there’s not nearly enough “limited upside but reliable contributor” types.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
Anundsen has only topped out at about 86-88 in the past
If he catches that velocity he once had, he’ll shoot up the lists.
Me, I’m going to be voting for Amaury Rivas for a long time, it seems.
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).
No love for Eric Farris?
I didn’t expect him to win, but I figured he’d be getting a few votes by this point, as a solid middle infielder with 70 stolen bases last season.
