Per McCalvy
Coffey said the other day he just likes round numbers other than zero (never mind he’s uniform No. 60). He made $800,002 in ’09. #Brewers.
That’s just weird. I know Coffey is kind of rednecky, but that’s just weird.
Very much so
Well I went to a signing for him. He was decked out with Cabellas stuff, had camo on. The entire nine yards.
Nice guy, but I think he loves to drink Busch and watch rastling a lot.
You say that like it's a bad thing
God forbid someone look/act/be different than you.
it wasn't that serious of a post
maybe I should have included the sarcasm character
Wow.
Take it easy there.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
Not sure if that makes him a "redneck" as an outdoorsman.
BTW – He also has a big pickup… not lifted, however.
I don't remember seeing anything like that on it... seemed pretty generic.
Maybe with this new contract he’ll splurge on a custom paint job with that.
Even farther below, we find out that TH is a Conan fan.
I would have had him pegged as a Letterman guy.

Seems like a lot to spend on a bullpen.
Though I guess it doesn’t matter too much with major signings probably done, at least if it doesn’t mean that Bush is cut.
It may seem that way, but you can't look at in a vaccuum.
They’re spending very little on the position players.

Awesome
If Suppan moves to relief, the bullpen will cost twice as much as the rotation. Recipe for success!

Payroll is officially over $75M and climbing...
with Bush, Hart and Villanueva still heading towards arbitration. Plus, Gallardo, Parra, Stetter, Escobar, McGehee and Gamel still without contracts (not arbitration eligible).
Was it Big Red and Supersized Red?
What were McClung and Coffey’s nicknames?
