#Brewers signed RHP Carlos Villanueva to a one-year deal, avoiding arbitration. OF Corey Hart is the only arby-eligible unsigned.

So, of the bunch,
Hart seems to think he’s more solid than he is than the others. Think he’ll go to a hearing?
He might just be the last one DM is having negotiations with.
Coffey actually had a bigger gap with the club than Hart did, and that was on a much smaller contract. I would expect hart to sign within a week.
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, "That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
It took a long time for Hart to sign last year
I think it was a few days before his hearing that they settled. He definitely over-values himself.

I think it's worth going to Arby
Harts a bit over valuing himself. 4.3 for him? He’s about to over price himself.
Probably would be worth it
Not sure how much DM values the fact that he’s never gone to arbitration since he was GM.
The divide is pretty narrow...
… but at some point I wonder if they aren’t going to get sick of Hart’s act and take it to hearing. It’s not like it’ll break the bank if they lose. I can’t believe how much I’ve soured on Hart in the last 18 months. He’s got a shocking amount of arrogance for a guy who’s struggled for as long as he has…
What begins in fear usually ends in folly.

Nice quote from McCalvy:
“It seems we say this every year, but this time there’s something to it: It’s looking more and more like that one’s going to a hearing,” assistant general manager Gord Ash said of the Brewers’ negotiations with Hart.
You’d think that’s a bad sign for Hart. I have a hard time believing that after his 2009, and his downhill skid, an arbitrator would take Hart’s ridiculous $4.8M number over the Brewers $4.15M.

reasonable I suppose.
But if he pitches like he did last year…

Solid out of the bullpen, crappy as a starter, even though everyone knew that would happen?

so, he did well in his role, and bad in other peoples roles.
sounds about right.

Although, his bullpen stats include those games as "closer"

Where do you go to find his bullpen numbers added up without his starters numbers?

Or even just at MLB.com, IIRC
