In Venezuela:

Hernan Iribarren went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Saturday for Caracas in their 3-1 loss to Magallanes. 

Both Caracas and Magallanes are 3-1 in round robin play, tied for first place.

In the Dominican Republic:

• On Saturday, Carlos Gomez went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Escogido's 5-2 win over Licey.
• Sunday, Gomez went 2-for-4 in their 4-3 loss to Este.
• Also on Sunday, Erick Almonte went 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts in Cibao's 2-1 win over Licey.

Cibao is 4-2 in round robin play, in first place by half a game. Escogido is in second place at 4-3.

In Mexico:

Luis Cruz went 1-for-3 Saturday and 0-for-3 Sunday as Culiacan was shut out in each of the first two games of their playoff series against Mazatlan. Game 3 of the best of seven series is Tuesday night.

In Puerto Rico: Martin Maldonado went 0-for-2 on Saturday.
