PrintIn Mexico: Luis Cruz went 2-for-5 and scored twice in Culiacan's 8-6 victory over Mazatlan.
Culiacan now trails 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
In the Dominican Republic: Erick Almonte went 1-for-2 and scored a run before being lifted for a pinch runner in the fifth inning of Cibao's 9-2 win at Este.
In Puerto Rico: Hiram Burgos picked up the loss for Mayaguez, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five in three relief innings.
