Omar Aguilar outrighted to Nashville, opens 40 man spot
McCalvy's tweet makes me wonder if this 40-man is going to get another addition before long.

wow...
my speculation is right up there with the THWitter.
I’m agreeing way too much with him.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
We knew all along you were TH, Hyatt
Now you’re just trying to ease us into the transition of telling us the truth. Don’t worry. We already know.
Predictions?
With the information in the Mug regarding Washburn’s decision expected in the near future, me thinks Washburn’s going to be the guy.
BCB, the preferred above replacement level sarcasm supplier.
Capps is already off the market
Signed with the Nats for about that much

Pseudo-flagged
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
Note from ESPN Rumors today a 12
The Minnesota Twins are interested in free agent left-hander Jarrod Washburn, according to Scott Miller of CBS Sports.
Washburn’s presence would certainly mean goodbye to one of the younger starters currently penciled into the Twins’ rotation, potentially sending Nick Blackburn or Glen Perkins back to the minors to start the year.
With Carl Pavano back in the fold, and Francisco Liriano and Scott Baker returning, Washburn adds another veteran to the mix, eliminating the need to go with the unproven and inexperienced.
The Milwaukee Brewers are believed to also have interest in Washburn, who is from the region and prefers to sign with either club over heading toward one of the coasts where he has spent most of his career.

It could just be speculation but there would appear to be alot of smoke for no fire
Ring Out Ahoya!
The Brewers have been believed to have interest since July.
I’m guessing this is just a reiteration of those rumors. I doubt that this is new news.
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, "That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
Minor correction
The Brewers have been believed to have interest since it was discovered Jarrod Washburn was born in Wisconsin. :)

Who knows
Maybe Doug’s working on a 2 for 1 trade instead of signing a free-agent…

Or, he thinks the Twins will DFA a pitcher to make room for Washburn.
Either way, the decision to outright Aguilar instead of Dillard or Cruz is pretty interesting.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
Does that mean Aguilar has already passed through waivers or does still have to?
