Arizona: Surprise 2, Phoenix 2 (11 innings)

McClendon snapped a scoreless streak by allowing the unearned run, but still hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 9.1 innings. Jeffress' two scoreless innings dropped his ERA down to 0.96 in 9.1 innings.

The tie dropped Surprise into a tie for first place in the AFL National Division.

Mexico: Hermosillo 5, Obregon 4

  • Josh Butler (Hermosillo, W, 1-3): 1 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 K

Hermosillo is now 9-9 and tied for fourth place.

Dominican Republic: Aguilas 8, Escogido 7

Gomez was lifted for a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. Escogido is 5-5 and tied for third place.

Puerto Rico: Caguas 8, San Juan 2
