Arizona: Surprise 6, Saguaros 5

  • Hunter Morris (3B): 0-for-4
  • Michael Fiers (SP): 5 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 4 K

Since opening AFL play with a disaster start on October 13, Fiers has posted a 3.00 ERA over three starts. Over that span he's allowed eight hits, walked one and struck out ten in 12 innings.

The Javelinas also won yesterday, so Surprise remains two games back with nine to play.

Dominican Republic: Estrellas 7, Cibao 5

Toros 8, Escogido 1

Gomez was lifted for a pinch hitter in the late innings. He's 2-for-18 with one walk in November.

With the losses Cibao and Escogido fall to 4-10 and 8-6, respectively. Estrellas and Toros are tied for first at 10-4.

Puerto Rico: San Juan 7, Ponce 5
