I have heard speculation in prior years
that Boras’ mid-level clients take the brunt of GMs anger at Boras’ actions with his high profile clients.
When there is a scuffle in Ireland, there’s no need to specifically mention in the news story that alcohol was involved

Having Boras was probably just an additional reason for teams to avoid Lopez.

There are a lot of things really — also guys like Orlando Hudson on the market didn’t help either.
