As I tweeted
Couldn’t anyone have spent 5 minutes learning how to format the list better? Looks like the broadcast quality of WMLW (that’s code for crap)

So you're telling me that Boston College has as many televised spring training games as the Brewers do?
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
if FS Wisconsin televised more games...
MLB.TV only picks up what the local markets are doing. YES and NESN show so many ST games it’s ridiculous.
I hate that games are not simulcast on WMLW and FSN
since Charter here in the Madison metro area doesn’t carry WMLW, I have to miss 21 games.

157 games televised, 136 on FSN

Forgot about those ones
doesn’t change that Charter doesn’t carry WMLW here.

You're not missing anything.
Find footage of a random baseball game, change all your TV settings so it’s barely visible (and totally unrecognizable), and turn on Uke & Corey. Then you’ll share my WMLW experience.
Shruggity
Oh yeah, I've seen them when at the in-law's house from time to time
It really gets to your point about everything needing to be televised.

I'm in favor.
At least they could fix MLB’s crappy blackout rules so you could watch Brewer games on .tv in WI.
Yeah that's the worst part
Even if I have MLB Extra Innings, I can’t watch the WMLW games.
Not sure if DirecTV or DISH here carry WMLW. Might have to look into it, the little lady and I are trying to buy a new house, it would be the perfect time to switch.

No, but it doesn't matter.
My parents live in the Madison sat region & just switched from Dish to Direct last season. They get the simulcast on FSN.
Extra Innings sucks too since most providers only have 1 channel in HD a night.
Sometimes they are, but not nearly all of them.
Do you live in Madison?

No...
…but I have a good friend in La Crosse who has Charter. The only time he doesn’t get it is when the Bucks confilct.
Well
I’m telling you that in Madison, when games are on WMLW, I cannot watch them. That is the way it has always been here.
Not sure why you’re arguing with me about that…

Ah, I live in Madison...
And Charter always carries the games on WMLW, they’re on FSN even though its not listed in the guide.

Nope
That’s not the case. Some of the games are simulcast. Most of them (Friday games usually) are not.

Ah ok..
I guess I’m seeing things…like baseball on saturday afternoons which are normally on WMLW yet still on FSN in Madison

Yeah, I'm not sure how to respond to you
I know you’ve been quite contrary before. I’ve lived here my whole life, and this is how its always been with Charter.

I mean
I don’t really care. I’m just saying, I live in madison, have charter and the games on wmlw are almost always on except for when the bucks play at the same time. Not sure why its such an impossible thing to understand.
"Cubs suck. I own them" -Doug Davis
Because its not right
In fact, I even called Charter last year because of it. If you’re wondering WHY they do it, you can read Kyle’s post below. That’s what the pleasant foreign lady told me on the phone.

Using what Charter customer service people said as a argument is beyond laughable. I’m done with this, the WMLW games are on FSN for those who aren’t stubborn and actually want to watch the games. You can be the only brewers fan in madison not watching, I honestly couldn’t care less. Enjoy.
…the radio.
"Cubs suck. I own them" -Doug Davis
There are different area codes...
Maybe that has something to do with it? Or different versions of Charter, like if there is a premium version or something, where you get more channels?
Wow, I'm sorry I didn't show up to stop this one hours ago.
Was the pissing match over this really necessary, guys?
Metagen, Charlie says he can’t get the game at his house. It’s probably safe to assume he’s smart enough to work his television, and he has incentive to figure it out.
Charlie, Metagen says he can get the games at his house. I don’t see why he’d lie about that.
Can we agree to take each other’s word for that and move on?

No, it's rabbit season.

Yeah
FSWisconsin simulcasts them in most places, but apparently not in Madison, where WMLW probably claims their signal is still accessible.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
Damn, that's weak.
I thought Charter sucked bad when I lived in LAX. I’d definetly have to punt it if I lived in Madison.
Of course sat isn’t a complete fix either since neither carry FSN-WI fulltime and they sometimes mess up putting the game on.
Not to be contrary
but my city of Madison Charter experience has been the same as Metagen’s: seeing WMLW games on FSWisconsin unless there is a Bucks conflict.
You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.
Probably still a regional issue.
Who knows what WMLW claims as their “broadcast area,” but I’d guess the line is in or somewhere near Madison.

Argh.
Bucks conflicts fill me with rage. I hate the NBA.

you will be happy
when the Bucks make the playoffs this season and extend their season. You might as well buy a Jennings jersey.
Q: Did you ever scout Corey Hart? What seems to be holding him back from being a good hitter for AVG?
A: The slider away. And that facial hair.

Bucks playoff games aren't on FSWI

really?
I thought the playoff games were on the local channel and blacked out on TNT or ESPN in the local market. But being a Bucks fan I am not exactly an expert in watching playoff hoops.

Wait, I thought everyone in the NBA made the playoffs?
Isn’t that why the season lasts until a week before the next one starts?
Shruggity
Nope.
It just seems like it because no one except for family, friends, and their opponents on any given night notices that the worst teams in the league play any games after December 1st. Sometimes even their opponents don’t notice, because in the NBA, even the good players on good teams know the regular season is pretty close to meaningless. Which is why they’re as likely to mail in their performance on any given night.
I doubt even this would make me watch the horror that is the NBA, but the first thing I’d do as commissioner is cut the season by 20 games and limit the playoffs to 12 teams. I’d also fire any ref who didn’t call traveling at least once a game.

A downloadable schedule is here:
http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/schedule/downloadable.jsp?c_id=mil
That one notes which games are nationally televised, but doesn’t distinguish between WMLW, FSN or unaired.
Unaired games (all times 1:10 CST):
June 30 Astros @ Brewers
July 8 Giants @ Brewers
July 28 Reds @ Brewers
August 12 D-Backs @ Brewers
August 26 Dodgers @ Brewers
Quite possibly.
There aren’t any of the usual offenders on the list. e.g. getaway day vs the Pirates.
WMLM
Did they upgrade anything this off season or will is still be a crappy signal even by SD standards?
I have a really hard time watching that channel for anything let alone a baseball game.

But it means Milwaukee!

most games will be on
either the Brewers’ feed or their opponent’s feed. Hopefully they pick up more HD games this year.
