Community Projections: Left Field
Next up is this Ryan Braun character. He's pretty good. CHONE projects .307/.370/.566, ZiPS projects .295/.359/.554. I think this one is prime for some optimism, with some correction for the slight injuries Braun has had, coupled with the increased patience we've seen in the past two years. And after becoming comfortable with two years in left field, I think this could be something of a career year for Braun. Here's his Fangraphs page for further research.
We're not projecting a backup here. The number of at-bats that are left after Braun's total percentage in the form will be pretty small and be given to Gerut or someone like him.

That doesn't look like he's in the midst of a windup to you?
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).
Not really.
More like a long throw since his left arm is pointing a little upwards. If anything, it looks like he’s working on his throwing mechanics.
Hey, way to pee in our Cheerios

Braun is the classic outlier
I read this guy over at BBTF, Cubs fan I believe, who every year points out that because of Braun’s average on balls in play that such output is unsustainable and Ryan will hit .285 at best with 30 home runs.
The dude is a freak. He is also getting better. Bit of a drip at times but if it ticks off the Cubsters that’s a bonus. Ryan will hit .320, he will get his 40 odd bombs and he will be a nightmare for NL pitchers. As they are wont to say, Book it dano…..
Hahaha, I had almost the exact same line
.300/.380/.600
Optimistic, yes, but I have a hard time being rational when it comes to the Crew.
Brewers Baseball and other assorted nonsense (mostly the assorted nonsense) at my blog, What's a Tararrel?
I was thinking of being overly optimistic on Fielder this year
but not Braun. I’d say .310 max for his avg
I might go overly optimistic on Suppan
and predict a 5.00 ERA

no it's optimistic
because he’ll get hit with the ball that will bounce, on the fly, to Fielder. Dropping him to 5ERA and ending his season.
