Brewers NCAA Tournament Update

Before I get to the update, I'd like to thank Georgetown and Marquette for s***ing the bed last night.  That really helped all my brackets right there.  In addition, congrats to Ohio, Murray St, Old Dominion and Washington for advancing over long odds.  Now to the update:

Star-divide

After Day 1, we have a 2 way tie for 1st, each with 13 of the 16 pick correct.  They are Grittier than Kendall and Supertramp.  7 more got 12 of the 16, with 14 getting 11 of the 16 picks right (including my gut bracket).

Other notables:

Jerroddavid and BrewersFan39 have the most possible points left in the tourney at 1760

BeerGogglesAtNight and Prentice have lost their champions, with BGAN only having 920 possible points left.

KL and Mrs. snow tied the first day with 10 picks correct

RogueJim (who else would name him bracket Heetherific?) got 9 right

and a special mention to MyKenk, who was the mark of futility with just 7 right.  You almost have to try to do that bad.

Only 56 people who filled out a bracket on ESPN got a perfect first day.  Of their notable brackets, Vitale got 8, Lebron got 9, Bracketologist Joe Lunardi got 10, Bill Simmosn got 9, Mike Greenberg got 9, Mike Golic 11, Matt Berry 8, Scott Van Pelt 10, and President Obama got 12.  Even more fun is checking out how the Around the Horn guys did, and overall they were terrible.  Here's the link.

Post how you did below.

Sweet

I’m going celebrate now, because this will likely be the last time during the tournament that I am in first place.

I always have at

least one bracket with Wisconsin and Marquette going deep into the tourney. We all know that one of these years we’ll have a all-Wisconsin national championship. That is of course if Marquette can quit blowing 15 POINT LEADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wisconsin's going to secede?

Failure is just success rounded down.

I'd like to think so...that is until they meet Kentucky

So vs. Kentucky, they would have become part of the union again?

Secede...

NOT the same as SUCCEED.

holy crap

Kansas lost

"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

That crumbling noise

is brackets disintegrating nationwide. I imagine Kansas was a load-bearing choice in many brackets.

You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.
