Edmonds has made the team
Via Buster Onley's Blog :
"As colleague Tim Kurkjian learned Wednesday, Jim Edmonds was told he has made the Brewers' roster, and he returned home to get some stuff."
No big surprise here, but I do love it!
He also linked up this Hardy piece, where J.J. continues to whine about his sub-par performance last year.

At least he felt what we were feeling.

Edmonds
He’s had a career that merits Hall of Fame consideration. He had good years with the Angels. He did a ton for the Cardinals on championship teams. He even helped the Cubs in 2008 to a division title. It’s good to see Jimmy Ballgame back in the majors.

HOF consideration, yes.
But I still think he’s a little short on HOF credentials.

Agreed
I think you can certainly make the case that Edmonds has had more career value than Dale Murphy. However, at Dale’s peak, Murphy was a 2-time MVP. Edmonds hasn’t won an MVP or led his league in any major offensive category. Murphy’s not making it to the Hall, and I don’t think Edmonds will, either.
