Brewers 1, Diamondbacks 9

Stay connected for news and updates

Well, that was fun.

Doug Davis gave Brewers fans who were doubting his signing reason by giving up four runs in the third inning, and a total of 6 runs in five innings.  Davis gave up a ton of baserunners:  9 hits and 4 walks, with only 3 strikeouts.  Carlos Villanueva didn't fare much better, giving up two runs on a homer by Brandon Allen. Then, to top it off, Mitch Stetter gave up one in his inning of work.

The Brewers only offensive contribution came on a sacrifice fly by Joe Inglett that scored Kentrail Davis.  So, yeah, probably a good thing that this was the game that wasn't aired on TV or Radio.
