Brewers 12 Giants 1
The Brewers (Hart, Escobar, Braun, Errecart and Komastu) took Giants pitchers deep 5 times this afternoon. The Brewers slugged out 12 hits, while our pitchers strategically distributed 8 Giants hits, and 2 BBs allowing only 1 Giant to cross the plate. Probably more encouraging than the Brewers hitting display today, was the successful performance of Chris Capuano. Capuano who was single-handedly responsible for 50 or 60 consecutive Brewer losses a couple of seasons ago, threw 2 scoreless innings (2H 3K 0BB) earning the win today, on his journey back to the majors.

In Tucson the Brewers didn't fare as well, losing 8-6 to the Rockies. Reliever AJ Murray, gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th, to seal the Brewers fate this afternoon.
