D-Backs 12, Brewers 3
W: Ian Kennedy
L: Randy Wolf
All right, everyone get on the bus and let's get out of Maryvale before this one gets any worse.
The Brewers were out of this one early and most of the regulars were on the bus before the sixth inning, as Randy Wolf allowed five runs on seven hits (including four home runs) in four innings of work and a cavalcade of minor leaguers couldn't bring the Crew back.
At the plate, it was a pretty good day for Craig Counsell, who went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run, and Casey McGehee went 1-for-3 with his first home run of the spring.
With the loss, the Brewers went 4-8-2 in their last 14 Cactus League games, and finish play at 14-14-2. They'll head home to open up Miller Park with an exhibition against the Tigers tomorrow night.

Now that Maryvale is done, time to change the tagline.
Suggestion: Covering the Milwaukee Brewers early season where hope springs attorney.
Applying Simpsons and Star Wars quotes to Brewers discussions since 2009.
how about
Hoping the Brewers ride the Tiger(s) like an Orlando Hooters waitress.
Q: Did you ever scout Corey Hart? What seems to be holding him back from being a good hitter for AVG?
A: The slider away. And that facial hair.

Or something completely different.
I see it’s already changed. I’m just glad we’ve put the THwitter Maryvale weather updates behind us.

Or
The second-best place to follow the Milwaukee Brewers, behind Miller Park walking behind them.
