Let's trade Salome to the Dodgers. They need a backup catcher after Brad Ausmus got injured. I know the plan was to give Salome starts and lots of at bats and that is why he is at AAA, but  he has been in the minors since 2004 and it is obvious Lucroy has passed him up in the plans of the organization. After Salome gets sent out of town, Lucroy could move up to AAA.

In return, our organization needs a AAA outfielder. Right now the Sounds website lists only two outfielders active after the injuries to Adam Stern and Brendan Katin. Options that we could get from the Dodgers include Tike Redman's brother Prentice, and Jay Gibbons.

Of course there is also the possibility Lorenzo Cain moves up from AA. Another option is trying to send Inglett or Gerut down to play outfield. I am just saying let's deal from our strengths. We have 2 solid catchers in Lucroy and Salome and no place to put them right now so if we can strike a deal to improve our big league club or the farm system that would be good and the timing is right since the Dodgers need something.
