Ok I know that it is way to early to speculate on what Dave Bush will finish the 2010 season with in terms of numbers... but who cares I am going to do it anyway.
Lets say Bush stays healthy and has one of the best years of his career. He ends 2010 with a 13-9 Record an ERA in the range of 4.10-4.20ish with a WHIP of 1.10-1.20 and 200+ innings.
I know Bush has been inconsistent at times but at some point in the second half of 2008 really seemed to have turned the corner and become a reliable pitcher. Despite his awful performance post injury last year i think that was more of a case of him struggling to recover from a nagging injury than a true representation of the pitcher he had become. I believe the "new Bush" could fit into the #3 or #4 role on many teams quiet well.
I believe that Bush will be eligible to be a Free Agent after the 2010 season.
My question is, what will the Brewers do with him?
Given his inconsistency in the past do you think they will tender him a multi year offer or let him walk?
Furthermore if he has a successful year like that what do you think it will take to keep him in Milwaukee.
