Zambrano to the Bullpen
I heard it from 670 The Score. Apparently Carlos signed off on it.

Ironic rec'ing.
I love this site.

Yeah, that thread might be a taaaaad rec-happy.
I count 20 green posts (3 recs or more, I believe). That’s absurd.

The Cubs are really really really stupid...
Z has not been that bad this season — he got jacked up in his first start, but in his next 3 starts he has been 18IP 8ER, 25K, 8BB. Not stellar, but certainly better than a lot of NL starters.
He must have pissed off Lou.

Carlos isn't dumb, just lazy
He gets the same money whether he starts or is in the pen. He would pitch 200 innings as a starter, but only 80 as a reliever.
Math is on his side.

Yeah, it's pretty funny...
but what’s not funny is that the Cubs have the stones to do this, but the Brewers can’t even bring themselves to move Soup to the bullpen, let alone release him like they should.
"I think this decision could go either way," Baseball Tonight legal analyst John Kruk said.

Right. What's worse:
Keeping Suppan in the rotation and moving Parra and Narveson to the pen, or moving Zambrano to the pen whilst keeping Silva in the rotation?
