I command you to take this Sporcle Quiz
Since there is no Brewer game today, you have no excuse, preventing you from taking this quiz. I command you to recall as many 2010 Brewers that played in a Cactus League game this spring. I order you to discern the difference between the games played in AZ and the recent exhibition games in WI. I impose upon you to post your score, and eat some candy.
Have a blessed Easter!

I got 44
I don’t know what’s sadder, that I missed someone on the 25, or that I have to go to work right now.
I missed someone on the 25, too
So I say having to go to work.
Failure is just success rounded down.
I just got back from work
And I also missed someone on the 25. I got 48.
My goodness.

Quite happy about that.
Lawrie was the “highest” one I missed ;)

I should have got a lot more pitchers than I did. I missed several that will be in the bullpen this year.

And I missed some easy ones (including a roguejim favorite). Is Khris Davis supposed to be Kentrail Davis?
Ryan Braun: He loves it.
No
Khris Davis played too…although I thin Kentrail Davis should also be in there.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
christ
forgot our 3 year FA signee and our LOOGY on the pitching side…along with some of our backup first basemen
and like half of the other names:P
ummmmm
it’s median, right? ain’t that average? Or are you arguing that 49th percentile is “average”

average is a loose term that can mean:
(arithmatic) mean, median, or mode
although usually it is used to refer to the mean of a sample, it can also be applied to median.
from the wiki entry: “The most common method is the arithmetic mean but there are many other types of central tendency, such as median (which is used most often when the distribution of the values is skewed with some small numbers of very high values”
I know wiki entries are often missing critical details, but this is also what I was taught in algebra, calc, and stats over the years.
Also wouldn’t you agree with my statement that “I am average”, not that my result was at the average? I think the statement that I made implies median (as you’re ranking me in a list of all people) rather than mean. If I had said “my score was average” you MIGHT have an argument (but I would personally say even then that “average” could mean “median”)

The fact that this conversation takes place implies that neither one of us is quite "average"
and I knew there was a reason that real statistics don’t use the word average, thanks for providing it.
