Manny Parra
Four games into the season and we have yet to see Manny Parra get into a game. Our young starting pitching "depth" is buried as the absolute last resort guy in the bullpen. Somewhere Elmer Dessens doesn't feel so bad. Look for Manny in games where it is a blowout for either side, as the first four games have been margins of 2 runs or less. A roster move will be coming soon as well, but everyone says its going to be Carlos V. going down.

Yeah, those are all facts (except maybe the Dessens one)
Parra is kind of stuck in the long reliever role since they can’t send him to start in Nashville and won’t have him start over Suppan. It would be nice if he could pick up a three-inning save in a blowout soon, but whatever. I’m surprised Narveson is pitching so much.
Failure is just success rounded down.
The fact that he isn't pitching, even though Narvdog is, makes me think
that they’re saving him specifically for a game where somebody goes out in the first inning of the game. That being said, it would have made sense for him to pitch on Friday in order to piggyback him with Jeff Suppan. I wonder if he’s doing bullpen sessions on the side.

Or Peterson is still working with him on something...
and is waiting for low leverage situations for Parra, to bring him along more slowly. You always have to consider the mental/emotional aspect with that dude.

I was going to say they were working on a trade
But they wouldn’t have warmed him up with Davis pitching the other day.

Narveson is being used as a LOOGY
Which of course is the biggest waste ever of a guy who doesn’t really have much of an L-R split and can give you six innings every 5 days under optimal circumstances.
In absence of any other evidence I’d say that Macha’s doghoused yet another pitcher.
I'm not so sure
Has anyone REALLY seen the guy who’s in the Bernie Brewer suit?
