Hunter Morris is in the lineup tonight for the T Rats
Straight from Fang's twitter-writing hands. He's batting fifth and playing first base. For more on the minor leaguer, go to the Rattler Radio site.

Wow.
I’m not 100% sure, but that might make him the first 2010 draftee to play in the minors.
…[checks]…
Nope — unless somebody beats him today, he’ll be second. First was Tony Plagman, 9th-rounder of the Tigers, from GA Tech. He debuted last night with West Michigan.
I only count teams in real locations
Have you ever seen West Michigan on a map?
I've had it with this verkakte flippity-ship!

By that measure, the Midwest League sucks
- West Michigan
- Great Lakes
- Southwest Michigan [now Great Lakes]
…and while “Wisconsin” is on a map, it’s not the most descriptive title.
Plus, there’s Lake County, Kane County, and Quad Cities.
Basically, these people are trading hometown pride for heartless pandering to larger geographic areas.

Hey, even the Northwoods League has cities
The great Madison Mallards, Rochester Honkers, Brainerd Blue Thunder and the like. Then again, they’ve also got the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

The reminds me of my grandfather
He was a big walker. He came to visit us in Milwaukee once and took off walking from the suburbs all the way downtown and back, just to see the city. I asked him where he went and he said “looking for East Allis.”
A big walker
Your grandfather is Prince Fielder?
Ryan Braun: He loves it.

I stand corrected
Another Midwest Leaguer. Ryan Lamarre has been playing with Dayton since Saturday. I didn’t think to start tracking debut dates until Monday.

The question everyone is really thinking:
When will Dylan Covey play for the Brewers?
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.
2013ish?

When he's ready
And not a day before, no matter who’s job it would save.

You fool...
Don’t cut him. Trade him for pitching. I hear Jeff Suppan has a 9 K/9, with a nice ERA for the Cards.

Just channeling the spirit of Old Vegas.
Glad it worked.

I'd be curious to hear his comparison of the quality of play between the two.
With the games being so close together, the differences would really stand out.
