I've had it with this verkakte flippity-ship!
I kept expecting
To somehow see Carlos George committing an error in that play-by-play.

Here's hoping the last month or so
Has been a turning point rather than just a hot streak. I’m referring to Lawrie, but I guess it goes for Cain, too.

Cain has been playing well all season though
My hope is by their All-Star break, he’ll get the call up to AAA. If this is what Lawrie can do consistently, then watch out. Seems to have great all around offensive tools like Braun, like good speed with good power, but both suffer(ed) early on from high K rates.
Also, welcome to the pros Cody Hawn, 2 HR game, very nice.

Huntsville is already in their 2nd half
With no one blocking him in Nashville, I really don’t know why they don’t move Cain up.
Someone on BF.net suggested (half kidding) that Doug is trying to hide Cain because it will look bad if he is better than Gomez next year.

lol
Is it sad that I really wouldn’t put that past him? I’m wondering what the hold up is though, I still think Hart is on the move come the trade deadline, and then we’re gonna need a replacement there. Who better than our best OF prospect?
Also, any reports on Lawrie’s defense lately?

Defense
Haven’t read anything, but I wouldn’t expect the scouting report to change, especially with internet writers. Once a player gets the reputation of being poor its pretty hard to change that perception even if he is learning the position and improving.

"Better than Gomez"
Defensively, that might be a challenge. Offensively, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s better now.
Now that's great tasting chicken!
