According to Mychael Urban of CSN Bay Area the Brewers want Jonathan Sanchez and Thomas Neal for Prince Fielder..
What are all your guys thoughts on this deal? Think he might actually be traded?

I don't know anything about Thomas Neal, but
I’m not a big Sanchez fan. We’ve already got Manny Parra.
Now that sounds like a a great deal to me.
Although I’ve heard Bumgarner isn’t as good as his numbers. I’ve heard he projects as a #3 starter. I’ve also heard he projects as an ace. So I’m not sure what to think.
My goodness.

Bumgarner had lost velocity over the early part of this year
He improved in May, enough to semi-justify a callup (which he probably wouldn’t have got if Todd Wellemeyer hadn’t experienced baserunning fail and ended up on the DL) and he’s doing kind of OK right now, although he gave up 4 runs in 7 IP tonight in Colorado. (Gee, 111 pitches, Bochy? Apparently they’re not taking the Strasburg approach with this kid)
It’s hard to say exactly what Bumgarner projects as at this point. He’s probably the Giants’ #4 after Zito, because Sanchez is kind of crapping out right now, but the Giants starting rotation is ridiculous.
Prince to the Giants maybe just got more likely
Bengie Molina traded to the Rangers, meaning Posey is back at catcher
Ryan Braun: He loves it.
I can't believe this rumor
only because knowing DM, it makes more sense for him to wait on the trade until Wellemeyer gets off the DL. Sanchez was never a Cardinal.
Ah, but is Thomas Neal Canadian?
Nope, California, but it did need to be checked. (Sanchez is from Puerto Rico, for the record)
