Oh no.
I hope it’s better news than what I’m fearing. I don’t want to hear the “r” word.
What begins in fear usually ends in folly.

Can he pitch
"It's a joke. It's all a joke.

Can we arrange a mass "text the booth" and email effort on Friday or Saturday?
They’re sure to get a flood of responses on Friday. If they get 30 questions asking exactly the same thing, they’d be more likely to mention it on the air, wouldn’t they? Maybe waiting until Saturday would make it more likely.
Good to hear
Does this mean Augie’s Angles will be replaced by Davey’s Degrees?
Maybe he should play first base instead. That is, he should lie out there and we can step on him when we get a hit.
Or better yet ...
A PTI-style post-game show with those two would be riveting television.

He already had a segment like that.
Remember Nellie’s Nuggets?
My goodness.

Ah, sounds vaguely familiar
I try not to think about Davey Nelson’s nuggets.

Thats great!
And i was just getting good at understanding what Davey was trying to read off those promo cards!
Some of ueucker's ad spots fall flat too
although, in some cases, that’s the script writer’s fault. Going for the “no hands” joke with “Frank Furter” rather than “he tried to be a real hotdog out there”.
But there are other points where he puts the pause in a place that alters the meaning of what he’s trying to pitch. Unless that’s his private joke.

I only hear games through XM
So I only hear the Brewers broadcast for home games anyway. Unfortunately, I only have XM in the car. I might have to go for a bit of a drive on Friday.
That is a good deal....
But if I’m in my house I’ll usually just be watching it. Is it still $15 for the season?
I'm interested in this.
My iphone came in the mail today. You’d think that the MLB gameday app would be cheaper sense the season is half over.

The audio stays $15 throughout the whole season
They usually drop the price of the TV package about 2/3 of the way through the season when the pennant races are start taking shape.
For the entire season, the radio is the best deal you’ll find on any entertainment. $15 gets you 162 regular season games. Average about 3 hours per game and you’re paying 3 cents per hour of entertainment.
If you buy it today, you’ll be paying almost 7.5 cents per hour 67 games. Let’s see your local movie theatre try to beat that rate. It’s $14 to see a 3-D movie around here.
This is how I justified spending $120 on MLB.tv. It’s only 25 cents per hour!
I had to, because it's so cool
Ueck might be the best person signing baseballs sent to Miller Park ever. He got my brother’s signed and shipped within 2 weeks and I got mine in 3 weeks, despite him not even being in the booth until last Friday. There are times when signed baseballs are appropriate even for adults. I’ll be keeping this prominently displayed as long as I live, regardless of my wife’s reservations.
